Christine Stears’ tattoo was a three-parter: “The heart was done first when I turned 40. The second part was the green vine, which I had done while my husband (an owner-operator) was having my name put on his arm. The third part (adding my husband’s name), I did when we were picking up cars in N.Y.”

There are all kinds of reasons drivers express themselves in tattoos: religious, memorial, patriotic, fantasy or just to have a permanent rendition of a favorite truck or truck brand.
