The Capitol Christmas tree’s yearly trek has begun. The tree was cut down this week and loaded onto a trailer bound for Washington, D.C.
Kenworth has the honor of hauling the tree this year, and it’s using a specially designed T880 to pull the Heil flatbed the tree is loaded on.
TCA President Brad Bentley says the tree is currently in a warehouse being shaped and fit onto the trailer before it begins its roughly 2,000-mile trip to the U.S. capital.
Check OverdriveOnline.com next week for more coverage of the start of the tree’s journey.
