WB I-70 in Colorado reopened after emergency road work shut it down

I-70 WB in Colorado from MM 419 to 412 reopened to traffic at approximately 6:30 p.m. Central time. See below for the original story about the closure.

The Colorado Department of Transportation reported westbound lanes of I-70 between milemarkers 419 and 412 were shut down at 10 a.m. local time for “emergency road repairs following an earlier acccident.

Officials reported U.S. 24 through the areas as an alternate route. No estimated time for the reopening of the roadway was yet available.
