More than 1,200 Kenworth and Peterbilt tractors are being recalled following the announcement last week of a recall from Eaton Cummins of certain automated manual transmissions. Additionally, Walker and Wabash are recalling approximately 75 trailers in separate recalls.

Two Daimler recalls affect nearly 28,000 Freightliner, Western Star trucks
One recall is in response to the Kidde fire extinguisher recall first announced in November. The other is for certain trucks with brake caliper bolts that are not properly torqued. East Manufacturing also announced it is recalling approximately 88 dump trailers.

Truckers looking to file formal comments on an EPA proposal to rollback Obama-era emissions regulations placed on glider kit vehicles have until late Friday night to do so.
