Maryland craft brewery thanks truckers with meal, gift

This holiday season, Flying Dog Brewery in Frederick, Maryland, is giving three cheers for those amazing people who deliver their beers.

In honor of truck drivers, Flying Dog has launched its Haul of Fame program as a "thank you" to the drivers who frequent the brewery's docks. 

Truck drivers delivering or picking up at the Flying Dog Brewery this week received this Flying Dog-branded Haul of Fame jacket as a 'thank-you' for their hard work.Drivers who have picked up or delivered to the brewery this week were greeted with festive signage and balloons before being treated to a meal and gifted a Flying Dog-branded jacket.

“Without the drivers who get products from point A to point B, there would be no delicious beer on store shelves – we couldn’t do our job without them,” said Ben Savage, Chief Marketing Officer at Flying Dog. “So, this holiday season we wanted to let our drivers know how much we appreciate them with a bite to eat and a gift from our team to say thank you for all of their hard work throughout the year.”

Flying Dog staff from throughout the brewery also formed a holiday hype team and gathered to greet drivers as they pulled into the facility.
