Small Fleet Champ, Round 1: Deadline extended to July 15

Updated Jul 1, 2022

Thanks to all who have entered Overdrive's annual Small Fleet Championship competition this year.

With plenty of entries coming in ahead of the initial June 30 deadline, and more information collection for Round 2 of the competition ongoing, we've made the decision to extend the deadline for Round 1 entries as we continue the process of selecting potential semi-finalists. The Small Fleet Champ award this year will be going to two fleets (3 to 30 trucks) in 10-and-under and above-10-truck categories.

NASTC logoThe National Association of Small Trucking Companies is sponsoring this year's Small Fleet Championship program. Finalists receive a year's worth of membership in the association, with access to a myriad of benefits from NASTC's well-known fuel program to drug and alcohol testing services and much more. All will be recognized at the association's annual conference, where the winner will be announced in October. Find more about the association via their website.Put your fleet in the running by filling out the initial entry form at this link by end-of-day July 15 for a chance at winning the competition. Ultimately, four finalists will be selected and recognized at the National Association of Small Trucking Companies' annual conference, this year October 20-22 in Nashville, Tennessee, where winners will be announced. In addition to the recognition, each finalist will receive a year's worth of membership from NASTC -- winners will receive two years' membership -- and travel stipends and lodging in Nashville.

As was the case last year with Small Fleet Champ Silver Creek Transportation out of Henderson, Kentucky, the winners will have demonstrated growth, above-average profit, and adherence to trucking best practices, all pointing to long-term stability and further growth potential.
