At a small event held Saturday, March 31, in Nashville, recently pardoned former county sheriff Arpaio admitted that, before Saturday, “I was in the dark about the occupation” of trucking and the regulatory strains on its small businesses. “This is a public relations thing – you’ve got to get the word out.”

In a further bid to get Donald Trump’s attention to anti-ELD mandate sentiment, the ELD or Me group and its still-under-construction TruckerNation.org website and grassroots org will host U.S. Senate candidate Joe Arpaio, recently pardoned after being convicted of criminal contempt of court, at a March 31 event in Nashville, Tenn.
