Trucker recognized for helping couple after hit-and-run
Sam Dyess was traveling along I-80 in Wyoming during a blizzard when a truck stopped ahead of him and slid backwards into another motorist, causing the vehicle to slide back into Dyessâ truck. The first truck then took off, leaving the accident behind.

Alabama lawmakers lower intrastate driving age from 21 to 18
Before the passing of the bill, Alabama was one of only two states (the other being Hawaii) to require drivers to be 21 to obtain a commercial driverâs license to drive intrastate. Truckers under the age of 21 will still be restricted from hauling hazmat and/or oversized loads.

New Montana law will raise truck speed limits
Montana Gov. Steve Bullock signed into law this month a bill that will raise the speed limit for trucks on interstates from 65 to 70 miles per hour. The bill also raises the speed limit for trucks on other highways in the state from 60 to 65 mph.
