After a long battle between Tiger Truck Stop owner Michael Sandlin in Louisiana and animal rights activists, tiger Tony, who spent his life at the stop, was euthanized Monday at age 17 and in ill health after repeated attempts at improving the big cat’s health.

No long-term parking will be available during the event from Oct. 19-22. Love’s says making the location fuel-and-go only is an effort to reduce traffic on the exit, which police have been forced to close in previous years due to severe traffic jams.
