The 1/25th scale model of Spurlockās 1981 Mack DM 800 coal hauler is their way of honoring his legacy. When Spurlock passed in 2012, says his son David, he was buried āwith his Mack cap on his head, and a coal miner on his grave stone with a pick and shovel on his shoulder, showing where he came from.ā

The trailer and tires got a scratch, the custom power unit was untouched, and the officers Bucenell helped obliged him with a clean white-glove Level 1 inspection just after.
