Trucker honored for stopping to help at crash scene
Barnett then saw smoke coming from the hood of a minivan, so he parked his truck to divert traffic from the accident and went around to the passenger side of the minivan and broke the window. He then gave his pocket knife to someone else on scene to cut the driver free of the seat belt.

Truckers can purchase paper hearts for $1, $3 or $5 at all PFJ locations, with the full amount being donated to the AHA. Drivers can also choose to round-up their purchase to the nearest whole dollar, and PFJ will donate the round-up amount.

Truck driver recognized for stopping to help stranded RV family
Cattell was driving along I-80 in Illinois when he witnessed an RV come upon a large tire retread in the middle of the highway. Due to traffic conditions, they were unable to avoid it, and the tire completely removed the RVâs exhaust system, stranding the family on the shoulder of the interstate.

Trucker named Highway Angel for saving small child
Johnson got out of his truck and tried to carefully approach the child, but it ran back across the road and into a gravel parking lot, visibly frightened and crying. He caught up to the child and picked it up, tried to comfort it and called 911. Â A police officer arrived and took the child to a local hospital.

North Carolina-based Eddie Loflin witnessed a motorcycle crash, parked his truck behind the fallen rider so no one would hit him and stayed with the injured man until paramedics arrived.

To raise money to help fight human trafficking, the Everyday Heroes truck, valued at $162,000, will be auctioned off by Ritchie Bros. in Phoenix on May 17. Proceeds from the auction will go to help offset TAT program costs.

Two drivers named Highway Angels for assisting injured motorists after crash
The two Bison Transport drivers stopped after witnessing a crash and stayed on the scene for more than eight hours. One of the drivers helped comfort an elderly woman in her final moments, and the other driver helped a motorist who was trapped in her car until emergency crews arrived.
