Thousands of trucking companies getting checks in DOTAuthority.com fraud case
FTC announced it is sending checks totaling $757,946 to 14,948 small businesses, an average of just over $50 per check. The refunds come from a $900,000 settlement paid by Excelsior Enterprises International, one of four corporate defendants in the case brought by the FTC.

Hours of service listening session set for GATS
The GATS listening session, which will be at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center, will begin at 10 a.m. and is scheduled for two hours. FMCSA says the listening sessions will allow the public to present comments, views and relevant research on the proposed hours changes.

With AOBRDs, edits made in the back office as a general rule don’t present to the roadside officer. Under the ELD specification, however, data transmittal at roadside includes those edits.
