Comments to EPA on repealing glider kit emissions regs due Friday night
Truckers looking to file formal comments on an EPA proposal to rollback Obama-era emissions regulations placed on glider kit vehicles have until late Friday night to do so. The EPA’s plan would rescind the glider-specific portions of the Phase 2 standards. The rest of the Phase 2 rule would remain in tact.

Comment period opens for OOIDA’s request to exempt small business truckers from ELD mandate
OOIDA has asked the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration to exempt small businesses (defined by the Small Business Administration as those with up to $27.5 million a year in revenue) who have no at-fault crashes on their record and who have a “Satisfactory” or “Conditional” from the ELD mandate.
