Top Dem in Senate urges FMCSA to ‘reverse course’ on sleep apnea rule
The agency’s rule, which it formally scrapped last week, would have set in place criteria for medical examiners to use to determine which drivers should be referred for sleep apnea tests. The Senate’s top Democrat, Chuck Schumer, has called on FMCSA to resume the rulemaking process.

Lawsuit seeks to halt FMCSA's non-domiciled CDL final rule
That latest filing in the case of owner-operator Jorge Rivera Lujan v. the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration asks for an emergency stay of the government's final rule restricting non-domiciled CDL eligibility, pending judicial review.
