Missouri hauler’s special edition Pete 379X
The rig is the only 379X with this exact color, Farley says, because the color came out with the Pride & Class special edition 389s in 2015. He says Peterbilt wasn’t going to let them use the color, but after sending the VIN and title to Peterbilt to prove it was a special edition 379X, they sent CEI the paint codes.

J&L Contracting returns to show truck competition with custom 2019 Pete 389
The company gave the truck its name, “Here We Go Again,” as a nod to J&L’s return to truck show competition. A previous Peterbilt 389, “Contender,” competed for the Pride & Polish National Championship in 2015.

Tennessee-based ministry’s 1985 Peterbilt 359 with airbrushed Bible-themed trailer
The driver’s side of the trailer depicts a number of Bible stories, ranging from creation to Revelation. The rear and passenger’s side of the trailer feature American flag graphics and the seals of the U.S. Army, Marines, Navy and Air Force. It also features a tribute to truck drivers.

Oklahoma hauler’s 1987 Peterbilt 359
Dennis White, the owner of Dennis White Trucking out of Broken Bow, Oklahoma, bought the 1987 Peterbilt 359 in this video in May 2018. The truck was on display in the Great American Trucking Show Pride & Polish competition in August, where it picked up third place in the Limited Mileage Bobtail class.

2019 GATS Best of Show, Builders Class: A ‘Foolish Habit’ pays off
The complete teardown and rebuild of the 2000 Peterbilt 379 included installing late-model doors and mirrors and replacing all wearable parts. The sleeper now features a couch and large sound system instead of a bunk, since the truck is used only for show.

2019 GATS Best of Show, Working Combo: ‘Showtime’ steals the stage
Eric Turner and his wife, Stacy, kept judges’ sheets from previous shows and later tried to address everything that deducted points. That intense focus led to their rig, “Showtime,” winning not only a Best of Show award but also being selected as Truckers’ Choice by their peers and show attendees.

Lindamood bought the truck two years ago with the same paint job it has today. Parts of the truck had too much stainless and polished aluminum, while other parts had too much paint, said Mike Briseno, operations manager for Lindamood Heavy Hauling.
