Hours of service proposal could come by end of March
Signs point to a decision on whether to move forward with hours change from FMCSA sooner than later — by Spring, regulators said during a call with owner-operators put together by Scott Reed and Scott Jordan of the Independent Carrier Group covering hours, the ELD mandate and exemptions, training and enforcement topics.

Truck thief! Caught on dual-view dashcam
After installing dual-view cameras in their trucks, reps of the Madison, Ala., location of the Danella construction company were greeted early one morning with what was clearly a break-in at the yard — the thief, soon caught, was recorded in these videos driving away, among other footage, a gold mine for police.
