Cummins natural gas engine recall affects some Peterbilt, Kenworth, Freightliner trucks
As part of the 25,000-engine recall issued last month Cummins and Cummins-Westport earlier this month, more than 2,000 2014-2015 Kenworth and Peterbilt model trucks have been recalled, along with more than 3,200 2008-2015 Freightliner, Sterling and Thomas Built model trucks and buses.

Diesel price still projected to fall in 2014, 2015, but forecast price climbing
The Dept. of Energy’s most recent Short Term Energy Outlook projects the U.S.’ average diesel price to fall to $3.85 this year, a 7-cent drop from 2013’s average of $3.92 and a 12-cent drop from 2012’s $3.97. Those numbers, however both are upward revisions of previous projections.
