The Everyday Heroes truck, featuring TAT-themed graphics, was auctioned by Ritchie Bros. in Phoenix on Friday, May 17. Stewart Transport, a Phoenix-based company that specializes in refrigerated and dry van freight, placed the winning bid for the truck.

Bandit Series race postponed due to threat of severe weather

Sam Dyess was traveling along I-80 in Wyoming during a blizzard when a truck stopped ahead of him and slid backwards into another motorist, causing the vehicle to slide back into Dyess’ truck. The first truck then took off, leaving the accident behind.

Organizers estimate some 650 truckers turned out in a cold, all-day rain in Lancaster, Pennsylvania for the 26-mile convoy that has become one of the more unusual Mother’s Day traditions. While final numbers are not yet in, it’s believed they will have raised more than $500,000 for Make-A-Wish.
