While the debate around driver compensation v. a perceived "driver shortage" is well-worn, Rebecca Brewster of ATRI pointed to big driver concern around truck parking as cause for a loud wakeup call for fleets, whose own concern levels rank far lower.

The Minneapolis City Council passed the ordinance banning truck parking in the city by a 12-1 vote. Also: Florida-based trucker named Highway Angel for helping control truck fire at fuel stop. The Tennesseean truck stop on I-65 closed after its own fire.
