Craig Krumpton’s retirement project 1971 Kenworth W900 and classic 1980s Double Eagle sleeper
Another beauty I came across at the Southern Classic Truck Show, owned by retired Craig Krumpton of West Columbia, S.C. Krumpton picked this 1971 Kenworth W900 in 2008. Its original owner-operator team hauled in it through the mid-1990s, and it still bears their original paint and features in large part.

The Cummins Big Cam 4-powered 1989 Peterbilt 362 double-bunk cabover you’ll see in this video has been in owner-operator James Ryan’s family for years before he convinced his father, Art Nelson, to sell him the unit. Today, he hauls containers from the Port of Savannah north to Charlotte with it.

The June-published map of states’ adoption plans for the ELD mandate for intrastate operations included Wisconsin on the list of those likely to adopt on the same enforcement timeline as the interstate rule, but reps there now say a delay for intrastate operations is likely.
