Proffitt started the race in 7th and used a timely caution flag halfway through the race to take the lead on a restart and never look back. Proffitt beat out Mike Morgan and Allen Boles for the victory.

FMCSA to host sessions on ELDs, Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse at GATS
Both sessions will be titled, “FMCSA Hot Topics: ELD Implementation and Transition, the Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse and more”. FMCSA’s Joe DeLorenzo, director of the Office of Enforcement and Compliance, and Bill Mahorney, division chief of enforcement, will be speaking at the sessions.

Truckers raise $600,000 as part of annual Make-A-Wish Mother’s Day Convoy
Drivers of 545 trucks raised the record amount, which was $100,000 more than the total brought in by last year’s event, according to a Make-A-Wish spokesperson.

Bandit truck racing series sees another first-time winner
Marshall Davis claimed his first win in a race that had four caution delays in the first four laps. Davis started the event in 11th place out of 16 truck racers and worked his way up through the field. The Bandit racers will also be in action this weekend, June 29, at Salem Speedway in Salem, Indiana.

Truck racers set to take on Lebanon I-44 Speedway in Missouri this weekend
The Fan Series Truck Show, which is open for the public to bring their rigs to show off, will be open throughout the day Saturday, June 22, and the gates to the track open at 3 p.m. There will be a meet-and-greet with Bandit drivers from 5-6:15 p.m., and racing will begin at 7 p.m.
